I got the mei tai in the mail the other day and I LOVE IT!!! The straps are ingenious. The gauze straps on the ObiMama are plenty grippy. Furthermore they bunch up in a compact way if I want for certain ties or they spread out to hug the carrier like a wrap, but easier to use. Really perfect for a little baby or toddler I think, and I have both. Very smart design you got there. Also, padded straps are BRILLIANT! I received my custom wrap conversion from ObiMama super quick. I sent out my wrap to her on a Wednesday and by the next week’s Friday I had a beautiful conversion at my door step. She was incredibly friendly and wonderful to work with. We exchanged emails about my design preferences and all were taken into account on my conversion. As for the actual product, I am very satisfied. I didn’t think I was going to like the exaggerated slender body but I love it. It definitely helps to keep us cool and baby is still very much supported by the wrap straps. The beefy waistband is also wonderful. After some adjusting, we found the perfect fit for us. As an added bonus, it camouflages the “c-section leftovers” quite nicely. I am a fluffy mama and had not problems with fit in this carrier. My son is also 24 pounds and almost 30 inches long at 9 months and he was very well supported. ObiMama tutorials on youtube are great as well. Overall, I am very please with my purchase and will be referring. Glad she sent some business cards along

First, ObiMama customer service is top notch, thank you. I have an ObiMama MT (the one with the airplane on it) and it is wonderful; my son and I have reaped many of the benefits that come with baby wearing with it. We wanted a carrier that he could eat in so I thought I would try the ring sling. We have been using it for a week now and I am thrilled. My son is cozy and secure and we can adjust to a meal time position with privacy. And the fabric is fantastic! Even after he has been in the sling for several hours neither of us are overheated. I ADORE my ObiMama! Its the most comfortable my daughter and I have ever been i’m while wearing her and my son will even request to go on my back. I waited to leave feedback until I had thoroughly tested this mei tai out. I ADORE this carrier! It was extremely well made and is very versatile. I can carry my daughter(8 months) in a front carry that she is happy with(very rare) or my son(2 years) on my back. Both were happy! The print is gorgeous, customer service was top notch, and any concerns about the gauze straps not being strong enough were squashed as soon as I tried it on. Very strong, very supportive.Very well made. As someone who baby-wears often,I immediately choose this over any woven wraps, sscs, or mei tais that I own. Thanks so much! Could not be happier!

Thank you so much. The MT is absolutely beautiful! My baby boy fell asleep the instant I put him in it. I love the attention to detail in your work. I only wish I hadn’t asked for the extra long shoulder straps… They are REALLY long, which is good for my husband, except he now has decided he doesn’t want to wear it, lol. But even with the super long straps it’s very easy to use. I love it!

This ivory linen sling is perfect for FL weather. I have a baby bjorn and a mayawrap… this is my go to baby carrier, for doing chores around the house or discretely feeding in public. Beautiful fabric, sturdy seams, arrived quickly.
